The Ford Woody is based on a line of old Ford cars that started in 1941. In the final year of the oldstyle Ford, the 1948 version came with a wood-sided sportsman convertible. Being released partway through the year, only 28 were built. The Wooden side panels were replaced with steel in the 1949 season.
