Heller 1/24 Renault R5 Turbo - Tour de Corse 1982 Kit HLL80717

Based on an R5 Alpine body, modified by the Heuliez coachbuilders, the Renault 5 Turbo was presented as a 'concept car' at the Salon de l'Autombile de Paris 1978. After different technical solutions such as a V6 engine or integral transmission were considered, the final version was powered by a centrally positioned four-cylinder longitudinal engine with rear-wheel drive.
