Andre Citroen wanted to produce a vehicle that was eimply designed, low-priced and lightened, without compromising its sturdiness.  After the type A, the B2 was launched, followed by a smaller model: the 5CV two-seat Torpedo, which was generally pained yellow, earning it the nickname of <<little lemon>>.
