This diecast is part of the Heritage Collection by Classic Carlectables. The Caltex brand name started to be used in Australia in the 1940's. Caltex and Ampol opened refineries in the 1950's and competed in the service station arena and oil product industry. In 1981 Caltex acquired Golden Fleece expanding their operations. In 1995 Caltex and rival Ampol combined to become the largest refiner marketer in Australia.

Released in 1963, the EH has was one of Australia’s most popular selling cars. With a new engine, clever styling changes, and competitively priced, the EH was the fastest selling car in Australia. Catering to a wide audience, the EH was available in nine different models. Two of those models were commercial vehicles, the Utility and Panel van, both sharing the rear styling from the previous EJ model.
