The Exia has a "GN Drive Burst Mode" function that can temporarily increase the output of the GN Drive and hence the ability of the suit, but it was rarely used due to its instability. It would later be used by the Exia Repair II that has inherited the function. Exia's overall capabilities can be enhanced through the power of the Trans-Am System.
