The Porsche 934 RSR Turbo was presented at the end of 1975 and dominated the European G.T. Car Championships, usually the preserve of Stuttgart cars.  In 1976, out of seven races, it won five at Nurburging, Oesterreichiring, Norisring, Monza and Hockenheim.  At the 24-hour race at Mans in 1977, it came seventh overall (all groups) and first in group 4.
